WOW!!!! - that's all we can say. To borrow a phrase from one of the people attending, "What a kick-ass party" and it was. FLOG's 4th Annual Halloween Trick or Beat was held Saturday, October 26. More than 100 people attended and had a grand spanking time in "Dungeon Anthrax" for an evening of great costumes, good food, good fun on the equipment, great door prizes, and good company.

What's a Halloween party without great costumes and they were everywhere to be seen. In keeping with the theme of "Dungeon Anthrax" there were three knights, 2 ladies Zoot and 1 Dingo (her identical twin). We had a "blow-up" doll in a purple corset, a Shiek and his "captured" slave in chains. A second sheik joined us with his harem right behind him (Eat your heart out Jeannie). Also joining us was a goblin and his wood fairie companion (who had beautiful leaves), Static Cling, a wonderful dirty old man and his nurse, a King and his courtesan, the Tin Man, a flapper and her companion in a wonderful red zoot suit. Two gentleman from the "Revolutionary War" period arrived - one had his captured wench at the end of a short rope, a Satanic Witch (oh yeah and her costume wasn't bad either) and a Scottish Lord and Lady (kilts and all) arrived with their clan in tow. There were many more costumes and all of them were excellent!

In addition to the costumes, what's a party without food...and the food was incredible. Master Lynn outdid himself with Eye of Newt (meatballs), Skewers of Black Cat (Thai Chicken on Skewers with peanut sauce), Fried Batwings (chicken wings), Crustini with Zombie Brain Dip (sundried tomatoes and black olive cream cheese), Dead Boy Subs - turkey and roast beef subs, an incredible brie cheese wheel, and much, much more. Many subs were swearing their undying love by the end of the evening.

It wouldn't be a FLOG party without play and this evening was no different - we had five pieces of equipment set up and all saw good use during the evening...the Shiek introduced his captive slave to the frame and was aided in his scene by another Scottish Lord. Richard, our DM, showed up in the ultimate costume for a Dom as a Submissive and participated in a scene where he was on the receiving end of the flogger and whip. Several new people tried the equipment and a "school girl" found out from the "Principal" what happens when you get caught smoking in the girls room - her bottom was as red as her uniform skirt by the time he was through. And unlike the Zoot in the movie that inspired our theme, our Zoot got her just rewards from Sir Galahad with a good spanking.

One of the many highlights of the evening was the Costume Contest and the drawing for Door Prizes. A representative from the Hall where we meet acted as our Judge. She had gotten into the spirit of the evening and joined us in a beautiful cat costume complete with whiskers and tail. Her choices were:

• Best Fetish - the Shiek's chained slave

The final highlight of the night was the unveiling of our new logo designed by one of our members and destined to be used in the future for the webpage, announcements, and cards.

FLOG's social/play party this night was a great success on many levels. The evening started with a "Taste of BDSM" and ended with a wonderful single tail scene. A "Taste of BDSM" had five stations set up where, after a short introduction, a participant could try wax play, bondage, spanking, or a single tail. Those who attended the "Taste" seemed to really enjoy the chance to try something new. Our thanks to Mistress Jacqueline and Masters Rich, Robert and Lynn for sharing their particular talents with the group.

Another highlight of the night was the Food Drive. In what has become an annual event, members of FLOG donated seven large grocery sacks of canned goods. These were taken to a local food pantry, where they were greatly appreciated.

As usual there was much PLAY Saturday night. Everyone who had attended the earlier "Taste" were fired up and the equipment was in use until closing. It was truly a good way to end the year.
