On Saturday, April 28th, we had another very special HOTS (Hands-On Training Session) night. Held at 6:30pm, before the Social/Play Party began, the special presentation was on Flogging and Physiology. Did you ever wonder how to make the bottom zone? OR What was going on in their mind and body while you scene? This educational session taught those present how to most effectively take the bottom for a ride with a flogging. An emphasis was placed on keeping the bottom from Topping, communications--both verbal and non-verbal, changing sensations, starting and ending the scene, and how different floggers are used to take the bottom for a ride. It was an experience appreciated by all who attended.

After the HOTS session, there was a further demonstration on Post-scene Massage Techniques. Our DM (who was "worn out" from teaching the HOTS session) got a great massage and those watching learned proper techniques to giving a good massage.

Then, as if that wasn't enough, the Dungeon opened and again we had several wonderful scenes that went on through the night. The end of the evening came way too soon.

Even though our social was held on a holiday weekend this year, we had nearly 80 people who participated in the May social. Those that did attend saw a wonderful demonstration on waxing and the techniques to make it a fun and enjoyable experience for both the Dom/me and the submissive. Thanks to Chris for helping with clean-up. Our model definitely seemed to enjoy herself.

The dungeon opened with six pieces of equipment set-up, a ladder, a presentation bench, a cross, the gallows, a horse and a frame for suspension. They were all in use until nearly 1 a.m.

June was a busy and remarkable month for FLOG.

June 2nd marked a very special occasion--the 2nd Annual FLOG Picnic. We took this occasion to have a celebration of Marquis de Sade's birthday, as well. FLOG provided the food, side dishes and non-alchoholic beverages. Attendees brought desserts, their own "adult beverages", if they chose, and toys for show and tell. We had wonderful weather and a great time sharing our favorite toys.

June's Social/Play Party, held on Saturday, June 23rd, was the highlight so far this year as we were honored with the presence of Sir Shadowfind, renowned throughout the lifestyle, who joined us for a special HOTS night (Hands-on Training Session) on the use of single tail whips. From Michigan, Sir Shadowfind is well-known throughout the BDSM community for his skill with single tail whips, and he conducted a two-hour training session just for the Group. In addition to his expertise with the whip, Sir Shadowfind owns a wonderful bed, breakfast, dungeon, and training facility. We were very excited that he joined us on the 23rd.

Everyone who participated or watched came away with a new appreciation and respect for the single tail and its use in a scene. Those of us on the receiving end of the whip are still talking about the experience.
