Absolutely not! FLOG caters to new people that are seeking help and guidance in this lifestyle. We were all new at one time, and FLOG's main goal is to provide a safe and nurturing atmosphere for those that are just starting out. The experience level in FLOG ranges from beginners to people who have 20+ years of experience.

Of course they can attend! What makes FLOG special is that anyone and everyone can attend the events, as long as they have an interest in this lifestyle. Once members from other groups enter into the doorway of any FLOG event, they become a part of the family.
People from all walks of life, who have a genuine interest in learning and living this lifestyle, gather to socialize. For the first hour or so, people will be getting acquainted with each other, making new friends and gabbing with old ones. During the latter part of the evening, some attending will be engaged in varying forms of play, within the guidelines of the rules. Others will be watching and learning. And still others will continue socializing.
The Hall is basically just like any other facility that you would rent for varying functions, such as a wedding or a company Christmas party. FLOG rents a private room, with our own bar and restrooms, 1/3 set up for play, the rest set up for meeting people, observing and learning. There is also a vendor section where attendees may display items for sale (vendors are independent of the Group.) There is a downstairs bar area which has a pool table, dartboard, shuffleboard, and approx. 15 tables. FLOG attendees must always be properly attired when entering and exiting the private area of the Social/Play Party.
The owner is very aware of what FLOG is and what the attendees do. The owner has been provided a copy of this group's rules and was assured that everyone will adhere to those rules, or they will be asked to leave.
While fetish attire is totally acceptable and encouraged, we ask that you cover up when not in the private area. Once inside the FLOG room, you may wear anything you like within the limits of the rules (based on Missouri law, which says that nipples and genitals must be covered). Typical dress ranges from fetish-wear (leather, corsets, PVC, etc.) to regular street clothes. First and foremost, wear what makes you feel comfortable.
Basically you just bring yourself and your toys. The Hall has a cash bar, but no food.
The FLOG Social/Play Party is open to all. The Social/Play Party will offer you the ability to meet and mingle with others in the lifestyle. By attending, you can learn different techniques and ask questions, thereby furthering your knowledge of this lifestyle simply by being there. And while FLOG does not advocate playing with someone that you just met, attending the Social is a good way to meet others in the local scene.
Not for the open FLOG Social/Play Party. This is completely open and no prior notice needs to be given to attend. However, you will need to RSVP to attend the Women's group. This enables us to get an accurate headcount, provide directions, familiarize ourselves with the new participants, and most importantly, ensure the safety of the attendees.
FLOG is a non-profit organization. This means that we do not ask for any more money other than what it takes to pay for the rented room. We ask for a $10 donation from every attendee to cover this cost.
For any FLOG event, there are designated Dungeon Monitors (DM's). These Monitors will be announced and introduced at the beginning of each gathering. If for any reason, you should feel uncomfortable about a person, situation, or scene, you are to contact a Monitor immediately. FLOG does not allow any type of pressure or harassment to play. If you would like an escort to your car, please contact a Monitor. They will be happy to walk you to your car.
The rules have been set in place to provide a safe environment for everyone who attends. These are handed out at each FLOG event to every participant, so they are aware of them.
In addition to the rules, FLOG also provides an etiquette list which simply provides helpful suggestions to enable more cordial relationships.
If you are a vendor or craft-maker and wish to share your wares with the group, you are more than welcome. Anyone wishing to do this must have let us know they will be vending at the event by sending an email to FLOG_StLouis@yahoo.com.
NOTE: The purchase and selling of items is an action strictly between the two parties, and FLOG does not warrant the merchandise, nor does it receive any money from any vendor.
The municipality where the Hall is located was contacted. FLOG was assured by the City Hall and the police department that it would not be breaking any laws or ordinances as long as there was no nudity, sex, prostitution, drug use or selling, and the group remained a non-profit organization. There is no need to acquire a business license or permit through this municipality for FLOG functions.
If you have any other questions, please send them to FLOG_StLouis@yahoo.com. Thank You!!
